The Rainbow Connection
Why are there so many songs about rainbows,
And what's on the other side?
Rainbows are visions, but only illusions,
And rainbows have nothing to hide.
So we've been told and some choose to believe it.
I know they're wrong, wait and see.
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection,
The LOVERS, the DREAMERS and ME.

Three eye-catching formations, Rainbow Mountain, Rainbow Wall and Juniper Peak, are dusted by a late winter snowstorm in Nevada on March 16, 2008. (Due to an optical illusion, Rainbow Wall(center) is actually 114 feet higher than its counterpart Rainbow Mountain to the south.)
Illusions aside, I'm going to go out on a limb and call the plant in the foreground a young Mojave Yucca or Spanish Dagger, not to be confused with the Banana Yucca, not to be confused with a Banana tree. Someday we'll find it, the Rainbow Connection ... but not until I finish my delicious ripe banana. Have a nice day! :)
