I'm happy I waited to see the final product of the pictures with such a detailed description of this 33 hour journey! The images came out beautifully and "The Fury" was awe-inspiring; especially to read the word "success" at the end of it. Now is the "ray’s effect" on the panoramas from the stitching program?
Thanks! Yep. I stitched the pans in photoshop ... very easy stuff. I think that the 'rays' are due to the nature of camera lens. There seems to be a light/dark gradient across the frame of pic, different/more apparent than the light/dark gradient across the sky.
