The Gader valley (Val Badia)...

The Gader valley (Val Badia) seperates eastern and western Dolomites. At the end of the valley, between the roads over Passo Campolongo and Passo Valparole, there are no big mountains. So from the ascent to the Heiligkreuzkofel (eastern Dolomites, Fanes group) you have a nice view to the Marmolada, the "queen" of the Dolomites.
