Glad to see you had a good time and some of your friends were able to make some first time memories. Wish I could have gone on this trip, but I was sick all week. I'm sure I would have been in the same weak shape as your friend from the east coast. Glad to see he was able to experience St Helens though.
Those phots are excellent. Thanks for the link and thank you so much for coming here. Next time you come by, if weather and conditions are good Rainier (and Hood) will be the first option.
Nice report, makes you want to be there. But some of the spelling is a bit concerning for a native English speaker... - "quiet windy"... "quiet surprising"...?
I want to get up there sometime soon - cool pictures. I also really recommend Adams simply for the glissade run coming down from the false summit... such a good time!
Adams is a very awesome, fun summit. Unfortunately I climbed Adams in mid September 2008 and could only manage a 500 foot glissade. The weather was great and Rainier looked awesome from Adams. Will be back there again next year. Hopefully I can get BearQueen up St. Helens next May.

niceGood job guys. St. Helen's is a lot of fun. If you enjoyed those glissades, wait until you do the Adams glissade.
