Fun Short Shit  Sucess!

Kind of reminds me of Alabama Hills rock. Easy slab to bird-shitty summit. Spectacular area!

The Grandstand  Sucess!

Six of us climbed the highest point on The Grandstand on Christmas Day. Belayed for safety although anchor on top was more psycho-pro than anything. Fun surreal place.

The Grandstand  Sucess!

Went to the Grandstand after Ubehebe Peak. The summit is low 5th class but you wouldn’t want to fall here because it is out in the middle of nowhere.

Enjoyable  Sucess!

I enjoyed scrambling around on the rocks. I felt like I was on an island, surrounded by a sea. It rained a bit the day/night before we visited so the temperature was perfect, about 70 degrees. We saw lots of lizards here.

Surreal  Sucess!

A great day (and weekend) out with friends. After frolicking around on the Racetrack, we decided to climb around on the Grandstand. The highest block is a short and fun scramble (easy 5th). Good stuff.

Scenic and fun  Sucess!

Been here a few times, always worth it. As soon as you scramble up one summit, another one catches your eye and gets you moving again.
