The Little T "slag heap"

The final approach to the summit of Little Tahoma is completly melted out by August, exposing all the loose rock that covers the badly eroded mountain. Rainier climbing rangers I spoke to about the climb described the summit of Little T as a "slag heap". Photo by Andrew Chen
