The Little Things

Sometimes one has to stop and look very closely to discover the brilliance and beauty which lay beneath us along our travels. These little mushrooms stood no more than an inch high along a faded path in Golden Ears Provincial Park in SW B.C. I'm unsure of their identity but they resemble the Red-orange Mycena. wonderful

The out of focus background along with great complimentary colors makes this image really special. This image deserves to be near the top of the page!
