Impressing...The monuments look strange, but they´re impressing. As the heroic men they were raised for.

Re: Impressing...Don't know exactly about heroism. They just didn't reach a safe place. Perhaps there were other options, but the truth is, that marching over this plane those men and women were falling one by one...

Re: Impressing...What I do know is that in those times they belonged to the movement that fought against fascistic agressors to free their (our?) homeland. Many times they were forced to exist under the worst conditions so very often they had no choice. Today such people often are called terrorists.In any case people with such attitude are brave and therefore heroic to me.
