Thinkig back how risky it was, I would NOT do it again. At the time, before the invention of active camming devices, clean climbing was becoming popular. There was a trend to prove that many aid lines could go clean/hammerless.

I consider The Nose of Gibraltar in the top four most popular climbs in the mountains of Santa Barbara. I used to climb it until about five or six years ago. But, the age has caught up with me.
