There is also another approach to this area, used mainly my climbers wishing to climb the prow. It goes west from the back of the most western campsite at the trailhead. It travels along the north side of the creek, so no creek crossing! However this is a much rougher trail then the one on the south side, and quite hard to follow in some places.
