Part of a traverse from Peale to Tukuhnikivatz from La Sal Pass.
as part of Peale/Tukuhnikavtz traverse. Slow down-climbing to find trustworthy holds, but not too difficult. Don't put too much faith in any particular rock. Don't think I'd like it if it had any remaining snow.
Most of the terrain is fairly gentle & rolling. So to come across this section of jagged rock was surprising and welcomed. The crux wasn't too bad and the rock was about 70%-30% in terms of quality (good-bad).
Made for an exciting 20 minutes or so.
Ascended Tukuhnikivatz via La Sal Pass and traversed Razor Fangs to Peale. Climbed with Kiefer on a windy morning. Had lunch in Moab than hiked around Arches a little bit.
