The real Totonaco Indians

The real Totonaco Indians

Voladores (fliers) of Papantla perform the traditional Totonaco rain-conjuring flight-dance near National Anthropology Museum in Mexico City, circling the pole upside-down for the sacred 52 rounds (13 each). This image is pretty much a mere footnote for the origin of the name of Totonacos Chute on Izta. Don't do a Totonaco if you choose to go there!
