The retreating glacier on the...
The retreating glacier on the east side of Mt Triumph seen high from the NE Ridge. We crossed it on the slabs except one short ice finger. It is best to run accross the slabs as there is constantly ice breaking off and sliding down. The col can be seen at the top of the picture (August 14, 2005).
