The Ribbon start

The boys bailed out. I was watching these climbers from across the Camp Bird road (there is a deep canyon with the creek, you have to negotiate to access this one), and they bailed out from the climb. I guess the ice was not great yet (November still too early).

Well

I know a guy that climbed it on Saturday and his report was good ice. Maybe those fellows just decided they were in over there head.

I'm just itching to get climbing. I was hurt. Now my girl has to work nights this weekend. I was on call the past weekend. It just seems like the deck has been stacked against me. Maybe, I'll just get a babysitter for 12 hours.
