The Ribbon WI4

This is the striking line of ice that splits the cliff across the canyon from Camp Bird Road. It is among the top 10 ice climbs in this area, if the conditions and weather are safe and stable. VERY AVALANCHE PRONE! (Death Route). Huge avalanche bowls above the Ribbon funnel slides down the climb within minutes of snowfall. There are fixed bolts at rappel stations.
