The ridge of Nuptse seen from...

The ridge of Nuptse seen from south when hiking from Chukkung to Island Peak base camp. The left edges of the rhombus in the middle of the picture carry the new route to Nuptse East summit, done by Babanov and Koshelenko (October 2003)

Rhombus

Not only is this a super shot but the caption also effectively uses the word "rhombus" in a sentence. Outside of school, I can't remember the last time I've seen the word used. (However, I don't see four equal-lengthed sides. Looks more like a chevron diamond.)

Re: Rhombus

You see that I am a poor german and my English is like walking on thin ice. So when I use my dictionary the outcome may be funny for a native speaker.

Re: Solche Schönheit...

Der Wunsch kann durchaus erfüllt werden - viele geführte Lodge-Trekking-Touren führen in das Gebiet.
