The Ridge

The Ridge

After being successful on an adventurous route to Rysy I sent my friend forth to play the main role on my vertical panorama, made of 6 photos. On the top of the picture there is the summit called Vysoká and the Tazky stit a bit closer.

Ypu

may not know about the language problem in the name of Cesky stit. It was always Ciezki szczyt (polish dialect) C'ezky stit (slovak dialect). That mean hard, unreachable because of the Ceska valley that seemed to be very uneasily reachable by shepherds of the 19th century.

Recently a Slovak cartographic institution made official change, with respect to original meaning it is now Tazky stit, no more Cesky stit.

Anyhow, very nice photo :)

Hmmm... :)

Sorry for the mistake! Reading your comment first I changed "Czech summit" to "Cesky stit", then I changed it again to "Tazky stit" to be the most up-to-date possible :))
There are lots of things left I have to learn or refine.

Thank you!
