The "Saddle" to Glacier Lake

This is the "Saddle" referenced in the Route page for the Glacier Lake approach to Chikamin Peak. The axe (bottom left), and rocks surrounding it, being the cairn for the turnoff. This pic was taken right along the PCT. The bootpath leading to the top of the saddle (and then down to Glacier Lake) can be seen starting at the bottom right. It is probably a few hundred feet to the beautiful views north referenced in the route page. Chikamin Peak Glacier Lake Route August 31, 2013
