Wet my appetite!I almost took the route past the punchbowls last summer to try a cross country bushwack to Blodgett Peak. After seeing this photo I will definitely have to do it this summer!
Is there any good camping spots near this photo? I assume it's in the National Forest.

Re: Wet my appetite!You should go there! It's awesome! It's a truly beautiful area. There are several great camping spots around this area. You can camp anywhere you want! I would suggest camping on the edge of the punch bowls. Thanks for your great vote!
P.S. Did you make it to Blodgett Peak when you took that route? That is one of my favorite mountains to climb and I'm always looking for new route. You should post it.

Re: Wet my appetite!I haven't done it yet. I think it is possible but will likely be a long day with a lot of off trail bushwacking. I may try it this summer.
