Hesperus Mountain

Just a couple of comments regarding the Sharkstooth Trailhead route. First, do not cut across the north face of Hesperus diagonally; the rock there is in horrible condition and dangerous. Make sure you contour west along the base of the mountain until you are just below the saddle. From that point, there is a loose trail and a scree slope that will safely get you to the saddle. Secondly, there actually is a trail at treeline that will take you west to the point I mentioned, but it is hard to follow sometimes due to snow cover and the occasional downed tree.
