I did this climb as well, aiming at Dragon point proper and on a mission. It was just the battle you described. . . at the final summit block I could not find a way up easier than 5.7 slab I'd guess, maybe tougher and I looked over the entire north side. Incredible views from the west edge of the formation from there.
