The "Steinerne Agnes" ("Petrified Agnes")

Situated on 1300 meters height, just a bit offside the trail from Hallthurm to Karkopf, is this unusually mushroom-shaped dolomite rock formation, it's shape having been caused by the different degrees of resistance to erosive forces of it's rock layers. Photo taken on September 8th, 2017.
