The summit rocks (the two...

The summit rocks (the two small horns at right) from about 100 feet away on the final arête (Class 3/4). There is a register up there but the paper inside is damp. It's inside a standard Mountaineers cylinder that apparently doesn't seal very well anymore. Aug. 20, 2005.

Damp summit registers...

I've been buying "Rite in the Rain" notepads and taking them along on climbs for years. The paper is indestructible and the pads come in various shapes and sizes.
