The sun arrives at La Gouille

Early in the afternoon, the sun starts shining on the icefalls at La Gouille. We're still in the shade right now, and besides that, the ice is still good enough that we don't have to leave as soon as the sun hits the ice. A few days later it would be very different... 5 March 2014.
