The trail to the summit of...

The trail to the summit of Dinosaur Mountain is obvious enough and well-marked up to this point. Once you ascend to the small clearing west of the Box and below the third stratum flatirons, look for this bit of broken rock. Doesn't look like much, but 20' of 3rd class scrambling brings you to an obvious trail onward to the summit.

I always get so happy here; a fun little scramble, and break for the tippy top! When I take people here and show this as the way, I always love the look on their faces. "Are you sure?" Mmhmm...
