The view from the summit of Maliciosa (2.227 m / 7,306 ft) to the SE. In the background: La Pedriza Posterior, La Pedriza Anterior and Cerro de San Pedro (1.423 m / 4,669 ft). The reservoir is called Embalse de Santillana and the village at the shore is Manzanares El Real. The town to the right is Colmenar Viejo. In the foreground: La Maliciosa Baja (1.939 m / 6,362 ft) and Cuerda de los Porrones. The temperature at the top was -8 ºC / 18 F and the strong wind lifted the snow up. 11 January 2003.
