The west ridge routes on Richthofen

The northwest face of Mt. Richthofen with several variations on the west ridge route. The yellow route is the true west ridge, connecting Richthofen to Mahler. The red is the northwest ridge, and the blue is the northwest trough, which would likely only be a spring snow climb. The black line at the top is a short class 3 gully that presents a formidable obstacle when it is full of rime ice and lightly dusted with powder.
