The Wildalmkirchl (2578m) with it's south wall

Seen from Hinterthal in the south. The Wildalmkirchl is in the Steinernes Meer group of the Berchtesgaden Alps, and it's name means, literally translated, "Little church of the wild pasture".

Apart from hay fever, I'm doing quite well, and as days are getting warm again - even hot! - I'm taking as much advantage as I can to go into the mountains!

Things are getting better! I'm finishing a series of spinal injections for a hip problem and when these rainy weekends end I'll be out there hiking Saturday!

Look for a couple albums from last summer soon!

Dear Vid,

after some years I just study again some of your marvellous Alp-pictures of Salzburg and Berchtesgaden. I also will give votes to some of them. One small correction: the name of the mountain in Salzburg-city is Gaisberg, not Gersberg. I just live at the foot of it and in my mail in 2009 I also wrote you my adress. Takgrad si mene odgovoril da ni si sorodnik od Miha Pogacnik. Lepe pozdrave tebe i zena od Peter (moja mamica je prisla iz Sv Lenart)

Gaisberg and Gersberg - I know them both, having lived for over 26 years in Salzburg! ;-)
