The Work of a Petrified Lumberjack

The Work of a Petrified Lumberjack

This scene is taken from the northern of the two petrified forests in TRNP on the west side of the Little Missouri. With the petrified stumps and petrified woodchips, it looks like the work of a petrified lumberjack. Hat tip to mountain man Jim Bridger for that joke. He used to tell people of a petrified forest with petrified birds singing petrified songs. May 2010.
