this is perhaps the most famous picture by of german photographer Jürgen Winkler (much better quality when printed). Obviously it was taken at the same place and in nearly the same time as the one from the Everest movie poster. Submitting it here should only proof this.

So little snow!

Great picture, thanks for posting it. I am surprised how little snow there is on Pequeno! You would think a photo taken before the glacial recession that we are experiencing now would be completely snow covered -- interesting. Thanks for sharing!
