This is the crucial access...
This is the crucial access gully (orange dot in this picture) used to access the final south-facing gully on the summit tower. If you don't find this gully (distinguishable by its narrow opening) your climbing will be more difficult. Ice axe required in early season and/or if it's icy in there. Lightweight crampons would also be a good option. June 19, 2005.
