This is the second pass on...

This is the second pass on the trail above La Joya. This is just above the 14,000 foot mark. The blue box at the base of the cliffs is in memory of a young lady from Canada who had climbed Ixta and was later killed by a car. Inside the box is a book of poetry written by the young lady, as well as some other items. It should go without saying that the box and its contents are to be respected. August 2004. =-)
