This was taken 28 December...
This was taken 28 December 2003, heading up the Marion Mountain trail to San Jacinto, looking north toward the San Bernardino Mountains. Three days prior, a big wet storm passed through, dumping rain on the valleys and coating everything above 7000 feet with snow and a bunch of ice. Crampons were a necessity and were actually quite fun to wear on that icy trail.
