Thunder at the Summit!
After approximately 15-minutes on the Summit of Quandary Peak, (14,269 FT), with massive storms all around us, we began to hear bold thunder.....definitely our que to start the descent. This is my cousin, Slowbutsteady...leading the way down toward the East Ridge shortly before we were hit with rain, hail, and fog.....but no lightning! 05-Sept-07
