Timothy-grass bloom

Timothy-grass (Phleum pratense) is one of the most common grasses in the meadows of the Carpathian Mountains. It blooms in June and July. It reproduces mainly from seed. Many herbivorous animals like deer and rodents graze on Timothy-grass. The Low Beskid - Meadow near Black Creek - Rymanow Zdroj - June 2008.
