To reach "Roadside Ice", drive to the end of the June Lake Loop Road and park. Pack up your gear and continue on the June Lake Loop Road, on foot, past the gate for about 10 minutes. Look up and to the left to spot ice to climb. (Photo 1-22-06) Note: This is the same location you would park in to hike up to Horsetail Falls as well.
