Leiternsteig Via Ferrata
Climbed up along the Leiternsteig Via Ferrata and down along the other, easy Ferrata. Together with Koen.
The Leiternsteig is really fun and quite airy. Tried the Paternkofel later on the day, but with no success. On 2 Via Ferrata routes we had to turn around: (way) too much snow

Climbed the two ferratas. Weather was getting bad, so only stayed on the summit for a short while.

Ascent through Sentiero delle Scalette, descent through Sentiero del Curato Militare Hosp. Introductory ferratae, great view towards the Tre Cime. We started the Monte Paterno ferrata but the rains caught up...

climb on that day after Monte Paterno. Not to difficult and a breathtaking view from the top.

By both ferratas
The harder ferrata has a beautiful chimney and is quite fun to climb. This is a great little summit, and is not at all crowded provided you miss the 11 am - 3 pm "rush hour" from Locatelli.

Route climbed: both ferratas
Over the hard ferrata to the top and over the easy ferrata down. Nothing special, some airy climbing over the ladders. Nice view from the summit.

It was beautiful day to climb this tower through via ferrata. It was nice.

Rest day
After long days in Tofane group, Cristallo group, Sassolungo group, we made a rest day on one of the most beautifull areas in Dolomiti...I think, there is quite difficult and exposed ferrata.
It's very steep and there are some airy places. I think it's more exposed than Tofana di Rozes(f. Lipella) or ferrata Oskar Schuster... The view from the summit is fantastic. So I reccomend it, if you're tired but the weather is good, this is good choice...Or of course, you can go there before Monte Paterno.
