Too many miles...

Too many miles...

This rusting hulk of a 1935 Plymouth PJ sedan in Lake Valley, New Mexico serves as a relic of a bygone era. Lake Valley's population reached as high as 4,000 people in the 1880s only to eventually achieve its current status as a ghost town. In the background is Monument Peak (elev. 5,682 ft.), which is also known as Lizard Mountain because of the rock formation that bears resemblance to a lizard. Photo taken 4/5/08.
