Topping out on 'Pluto.'

Nigel Lewis topping out on 'Pluto' a 27metre VS 4c at Ogmore in South Wales. This is about 5.8 in North American terms. The photographer didn't want to get closer as the base is tidal. The Severn Estuary has one of the biggest tidal reaches in the world.

Depends on the height

The sea washed rock is scoured pretty clean by the tides, the higher stuff is a mixture of solid strata mixed in with broken biscuits!! Makes for an entertaining afternoon!
There are 217 recorded routes in 14 adjoining sectors. Most are trad protected and generally of a high grade. Most are Extreme with the hardest being a stupendous E8!! Perhaps I'll get round to doing an area page one day.
