Torstein (2948 m)

Torstein (2948 m), the western-most high summit of the Dachstein massif and its "Eisrinne"/NO-couloir (300 m, 55°). Photo taken by Andy Riesner during our joined tour. The couloir is an extreme skiing classic, with the crux being the narrow, 55° steep middle part. Deon Louw (telemark) and I skied it in May 2006.
