The closest way to get to this mountain is to go in by Buffington Pockets. If you find this sign, you made it. From this point, it was about 5 miles to the summit of Muddy Mountain (the way I went). The sign is an interesting read. 2-18-11

Cool sign ...

Only my point of view, but seems to me some
of those Citizen Action Groups should donate
additional funds to the BLM for the installation of a new & improved sign.

It was indeed an interesting sign so that is why i left it at full resolution (makes it readable). Notice all the bullet holes.
