Traversing from Gunsight Pass

If you choose not to drop back into the basin from Gunsight pass but to instead traverse around the peak to the right. You will gain this first wall and then traverse left across the loose rock and boulders until you see the trail and going up into Anderson pass. This saves distance and elevation gain but can take more time and be dangerous, especially if you get stuck on the rocks during the rain.
