Rope Drag?

How did that last draw treat you after you moved around the corner?

Cool roof

Nice shot Radek. I was at Smith this weekend looking at this climb, but didn't get a chance to try it. I was wondering how to get around the roof - looks like you just go up and over!

Re: Cool roof

Hey Jim.

thanks. If I'm right, you pull around it on the right and despite what Watts says, I thought that that was the crux of this route (there's also no 5.9 moves on it.....not sure what route Watts was talking about??).

How was the weather there?

Re: Cool roof

Cool - it looks like a nice route. We did some easier stuff on Flattop and Staender Summit. We were only there on Sunday - morning was sunny and beautiful, but then a thunderstorm came through around 2pm. It was nice - it rained just long enough for everyone to leave, and we climbed a bit more until 5 when the steady rain arrived. Seems like it is raining a lot at Smith lately!

...wish we had more opportunity this spring to experience Smith (been taking this snow/ice course = weekends above Timberline - not fun).

Take care Jim.
