Tre Cime di Lavaredo

The Tre Cime di Lavaredo (2999m) are three distinctive battlement-like peaks in the Sexten Dolomites seen from Rifugio Antonio Locatelli. They are probably one of the best-known mountain groups in the Alps. Photo taken July 18, 2006.

Beautiful shot!

Impressive looking peaks and a very nice composition. I like the contrast of greys of the rocks and the vivid greens.

The Dolomites seem
