Started on the enjoyable and slightly harder north face of West Trinity. Confusing cairns on Middle, I don't think I found the chimney, but wandered up the face and west ridge at about the grade.

Spectacular
My favorite day of the four I spent in the Grenadiers (climbed Wham, NE ridge of Arrow, and East ridge of Storm King as well)on a week long trip in Weminuiche. I started with the N Face of West Trinity and outside of descending the gully of middle Trinity, stayed on the ridgeline the entire way. The rock and exposure were spectacular especially the quartz ridge ascending East Trinity.

west to east traverse
nice traverse, more loose than expected, spectacular views,
Solo after bivy at Vestal basin (got there late at night and slept just under a tree with a light bivy and light bag). Hiked out after traversing all 3 peaks, spend nearly one hr watching moose at Beaver Ponds. Hike up to Molas TH was not too bad.
Enjoyable traverse, fun route finding to gain Trinity Peak from West Trinity with some fun class 4 head walls, then more direct gullies used from Trinity to East. The scrambling just below the East summit was fun as well. Descend back to camp less enjoyable, but the rest of it more than made up for the loose shaley stuff.

classic traverse
from west trinity's summit we followed the well worn traverse over trinity and east trinity's summits. yes, the traverse lives up to its reputation and it was an enjoyable day.....until my right handhold collapsed under my weight descending east trinity leading to a short, backwards fall. i was relatively unharmed, but was a little sore on the hike back to camp.

As stated
Usually done as a one day trip and we did no differently. This has to be one of the best traverses in Colorado.
Has pretty much everything you could want. Did this with two other friends.
