You're probably right. But it was the highest CA peak without an SP page yet, and I've been feeling guilty about my lack of contributions lately... :-)
I will. I'll have to find a rainy day to go through and make sure my summer's adequately represented on here. I can't remember why I stopped signing SP's logs over the summer--maybe I was too lazy to look up the pages when I dragged my tired ass back to the Bay Area each week. And I think I felt embarrassed that I'd eventually end up with more logs signed than Josh and any number of better climbers. Guess I go for quantity over quality!
Great post. I'm still searching for a good, non-technical climb to do when I finally make it West in a year or so. This one looks like another good candidate.
Go Bruins. What? They lost to the stupid WSU Cougars this weekend. I live in Cougar land but then I don't tell anyone I'm a Californian up here anyway.
and now for the rest of the story David, I went to UW (even though I was a Californian) and the thing I remember the most is that UW beats up on WSU almost every single year in the annual Apple Cup.
I still root for UCLA the rest of the time since I grew up nearby. (San Fernando Valley) and for anyone else who can beat the Cougs. : )
I just remember cheering on the cold weather whenever U Dub came to town, 'cause we knew that even if we couldn't out play 'em, we could out freeze 'em!

Untitled CommentGood page. What this peak needs is a 60 foot fire tower.
Then it would get more traffic!

Untitled CommentNo, that's exactly what it doesn't need! The snobs among us prefer fewer crowds. But thanks for the vote... :-)

Untitled CommentOh, and don't forget to sign the summit register. After all, you beat me up there by a few hours...

Untitled CommentGood page. Does this sandpile deserve such a good page? It certainly does since you certainly get great views from the top.

Untitled CommentHmmmm, I was always a UCLA fan. Nice page however.

Untitled CommentAnd I'm a UCLA alumni, but I still put up the page. I always thought having a condom for a mascot was a strange thing for a university. :-)
