Troy skiing just before the season ending accident

Troy skiing down Holy Toledo in Cardiff Fork. As he made it out of the chute and onto the apron he hit a wind crust and tore his ACL and MCL about 5 miles away from the closest road. It may have taken 5 hours to get him down...but it was a successful self resque...and was much cheaper than a $10,000 heli evacuation. As for Troy....well he will not being skiing anytime soon.
