In Zion (Mystery Canyon), I've seen rebar pounded into the wall as anchors.

I'm sure it's home-made. There's some interesting stuff from the old days on these obcurities (fun to look at and have a laugh...once you're down and drinking beer that is!!).

That thing looks SO flimsy, almost like it's made out of a beer can! So long as it holds bodyweight though! It certainly rates up there with some of the best mank I've seen!
