east ridge
East ridge in cloudy and wind conditions. Started at the Zapata Falls TH, left soon and headed for the ridge. Mid section - very deep snow, the ridge was blown off and rocky.
I guess this is the standard route. Very nice trail to the lake and fairly easy going from there to the peak. Since I was also going to be backpacking to Willow Lake later the same day, I decided not to add the southern peak even though it would have been only a little extra effort.
I saw no one all day until I got back to the Falls area.
