The avalanche danger was enormous. A small one started from the place where the climbers are. Massive amounts were waiting higher up and one larger hit about an hour and a half after they had left the place. I was waiting in camp kind of cursing them for being there. If...

We were indeed lucky to not get that stuff in our heads, I was so set on starting to make steps for an ascent.
It had been snowing for probably two or three days while we hiked up from the base. This was the first of three days of sun. We saw an amazing avalanche on Dysh Tau as we walked out, and also heard another one that could have come from Misses.
